My parents needed more hummingbird feeders and could not find locally the ones that "their" birds seemed to like the best. When I went searching online to see if I could find "the one" I was so surprised at how many different feeders were out there. This is the only one they wanted and I was so glad to be able to find it, and ordered 2!

I've tried many different feeders over the years, but stopped when I got to this one. I've had great success with it and especially like the availability of replacement parts. The one drawback is that the base itself doesn't come apart for thorough cleaning (the flowers can be removed and are replaceable; the glass bottle removes from the base), but it can be flushed thoroughly. The whole feeder unscrews from the top cap; I have two feeders, so I can fill one, remove the other from the cap and immediately replace it with the new feeder -- the hummers are never without. I'm staying with this feeder as long as it's available.

Perky Pet 209 "Our Best" Hummingbird Feeder, 30 oz capacity The plastic seal on the lid becomes stripped easily and then the flowers start to leak-what a mess considering its SUGAR water! would like my money back as I've had it for 1 month!

This was one crazy purchase. Immediately, after hanging the Perky Pet 210P, two things happened. Hummingbirds were drawn to this feeder, like magnets. One evening I had, 2 hummingbirds sharing each perch. The other thing that happened is that it leaked slowly drip by drip, and, needed filling daily. The hummingbirds loved this feeder so I tried to fix it. I ended up fixing the leaky "Perky Pet 210P, with a bunch of surf wax, the top of a water bottle and a rubber-washer. The neck of the bottle is not long enough, so the sugar water level is to high, and, it leaks out of the yellow, flowers. Finally, I sent this poorly designed hummingbird feeder back to Amazon. I did not get all my money back, but, that is what I get for trying to fix the Perky Pet 210P. Avoid the hassles, and search elsewhere for a quality hummingbird feeder.
