Wow Love It!! April 9, 2010 AvidBirder (Columbus,OH) I consider myself an avid birdwatcher and this product is amazing! I have read other reviews and found them puzzling because I have had no problem with the house staying on my window at all. Last spring I had a pair of finches nest in it and it was amazing watching them build the nest piece by piece and then raise their young. And you can do it from your kitchen window!!

We loved this product. No luck the first year because we had the house in the wrong location (sunny and too much people traffic). Finally we found a spot on the north side of the house on a second floor bedroom window that worked the second year. The bird family set up home, preparing the house with sticks. Soon we had 5-6 eggs. We were able to watch the baby birds get feed, etc. We needed to stand very still to watch. Sometimes as we approached the window the parent bird would fly off but would soon come back if we stood like statues and didn't move. Amazing experience! We just purchased our second house and it seems a bit better quality than our last. To clean, simply unscrew back panel, empty and re-screw on panel. The birds all leave the house by middle summer. Highly recommend!
Flawed Design March 16, 2010 demari18 (Fort Worth, TX) The two suction cups that stick the nest box to the window are screwed to the plexiglass, not the wood. The plexiglass is not strong enough to stand up to the pressure of being stuck to the glass and it cracks. I returned this item in favor of a standard tree-mount nest box that I know will attract birds.
Please keep in mind that birds are not going to nest in a box with a clear view into your house (or near a noisy room or television). Find a very quiet out of the way spot that is away from strong winds or potential bad weather. Keep your blinds completely closed for any chance at attracting nesting birds! A quick peek is okay, but if you completely open the blinds for any length of time, any nesters will surely abandon the box (AND any chicks).
Think twice before you buy. February 8, 2010 Sweetie (Virginia Beach, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product is a neat idea however when I received it there was a huge crack in it. I would not buy another product from this company. It was cracked during manufacturing.
Not worth the money November 30, 2009 Sam (California) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I ordered two- both fell off the windows in a short period of time
No birds. And I have many bird feeders and lots of activity around the feeders
Not worth the money
