This unusual bird house is beautiful as decor in the home as well as a functioning bird house. Wrens inhabit it readily. It will not, however, be easy to clean out following a season's use by birds. Mine hangs in my studio; a friend uses his for the birds. We are both happy with this item.

Well made. However, there is NO hanging hardware. The holes for hanging are behind the nest pocket so one cannot simply hang with screws as there is no way to drive them. I haven't hung it or used it yet for that reason.

I've seen several similar birdhouses almost identical in design to this one by other manufacturers and the quality paled in comparison. The weave on this product is attached to a steel caging which results in a very strong and solid nest house. Has a great natural look too. Considering that 99% of bird houses are grossly over priced ($25 or more), this one is somewhat reasonable.
