Product Description Hummingbirds are affectionately referred to as Nature's Jewels because of their iridescent qualities and beauty. The Jewel Box Window Feeder allows you to bring these beautiful birds up close for viewing. The bright red cover will attract hummingbirds. Once there, the HighViewTM perch invites them to rest comfortably as they drink from any of three feeding ports while also offering an unobstructed view of the birds. You can use this feeder with or without the ant moat to block crawling insects. Features a generous 8 oz. capacity, sturdy polycarbonate construction, and a suction cup mounted bracket.

Nice design but no hummingbirds after 2 months June 11, 2010 Discerning Shopper (CT) This bird feeder is nicely designed, easy to use and mount, and would appear not to attract any hummingbirds. Now, this may be because there are no such feathery friends in my area but I've been using it for two months and haven't seen a thing. Nonetheless, if you know you've got hummingbirds around this is a nice feeder to use.
Great window hummingbird feeder. June 2, 2010 E. Shelnut (EDWARDS, MISSISSIPPI, US) Hummingbird feeders that attach to the outside of windows are the best. I put this one on the window right outside my computer desk in my TV room. We see birds all the time. I have owned several of these types of feeders, but this one is definately the best of the lot. It is a bit pricey, but I think it was worth it.
Not stable will fall down April 27, 2010 M. Krishnan This product needs a design upgrade two suction cups cant hold on the weight of the nectar it is very unstable and falls down frequently.
Love it! March 30, 2010 C. A. Merrill (Oak Park, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My hummingbirds love this, and so do I. It sticks to the window and I can watch the hummingbirds up close.
Great Feeder! January 7, 2010 A. Lion 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I really like this hummingbird feeder. I used to have one similar to the Outdoor Seasons 217 Window Mount Hummingbird Feeder but after breaking the plastic clips that secure the base to the nectar 'reservoir' (for lack of a better term,) on two of these feeders, I decided I needed a diferent type of feeder.
The red top hinges, so it's easy to get inside to clean and refill it. The window mount was extremely easy to put up and it hasn't fallen down since I put it up about almost two months ago. (This occasionally happened with my previous model. It would randomly detach, sending the feeder crashing to the ground, which is one reason I opted for a plastic feeder this time as well, rather than glass which could break if it fell.)
I also really like that the company has printed the "recipe" for hummingbird nectar on the bottom of the feeder, (4 parts water to 1 part white sugar,) because I tend to forget the ratio.
One drawback that I think was mentioned by another reviewer was that the feeding holes do not stand out. There are little raised flowers around each hole, but no color differentiation to help a bird locate the hole. I solved this easily with a non-toxic permanent gold marker. Each "flower" has a depressed ring around the hole as well as a depressed line down the center of each petal. I simply filled in these lines with the marker, and voila! It's now very easy for a bird to see where it should go for its' meal! (I've added a photo of my feeder after doing this so you can see what I mean.)
