Product Description Our decals contain a component which reflects ultraviolet sunlight. This ultraviolet light is invisible to humans, but birds see it as a brilliant glow - much like a stoplight.
To the human eye, the decals appear as frosted or etched glass.
The decals measure approximately 4" across, and are designed to be placed on the OUTSIDE of a window. As a rough guide, we recommend 1 decal for every 3' x 3' section of glass.
CONTENTS: 4 Decals per Envelope.

Decals work great July 16, 2010 Traci Rawl (Irmo, South Carolina United States) I have a new bay window that the birds kept running into, at times fatally. I tried putting five of these decals on the windows. The amount of birds hitting the window decreased by a couple a day to one every 2 - 3 days. So I ordered more decals and now have eight on the bay window and have not heard one hit since.
A Bird Saver! May 6, 2010 P. Crane 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been using these decals for years. Just change every year to 18 months. The first ones I bought didn't seem to work until I talked to the local bird store owner. These decals should be placed on the "outside" of the glass in order to work properly. I hate the sound of bird colliding with the glass - sometimes they fly away, other times not, but these seem to help a lot.
Not worth it January 21, 2010 Micah Johnson 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These don't seem to work at all. We have a lot of glass on the west side of our home and have had a lot of birds die hitting the windows. We decided to try these decals. Applied them to all the windows and the birds are still flying into the glass. The premise for them working is good, but in reality they do not.
Works great to prevent bird strikes on sunny days December 9, 2009 Ginger S. Carls 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have had trouble with bird strikes and tried a variety of things such as moving feeders/bird baths away from windows, and making sure that the arrangement of houseplants and furniture did not allow birds to "see through" the house and make them think there was a safe passage through. This helped, although I would still get strikes on bright sunny days. These decals have helped for those strikes on sunny days where the birds seem to be confused by the glare from the sun or reflection of the sky in the windows.
Most people will have to try a few different strategies to figure out what works for their situation. These decals appear to prevent strikes on sunny days and you will need several decals for each window.
working great October 15, 2009 Anne Geiger (Los Angeles) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
So far these decals seem to be doing the trick. I put them up on my sliding glass door with some bird silhouettes and the birds have had no more problems.
