I'm very pleased with this squirrel feeder. I fill mine with p-nuts. It's fun to watch the squirrels trying to figure out how to get the nuts out of the box. Some squirrels are quicker than others, but eventually they all figure it out. I will buy more of these feeders in the future.

We bought this feeder a few months ago to help keep the squirrels away from our bird feeders. It's been a lot of fun to watch the squirrels at the feeder! Sometimes one of the squirrels will climb into the feeder when it's running low and just sit there munching away. Our kids get a big kick out of it! It's also attracted chipmunks and bluejays, who eat everything the squirrels drop onto the ground. So, while we bought this for a specific purpose, it's turned out to be more entertaining than we expected! We have quite a few squirrels around here, and they empty the feeder every day. Just keep in mind that you'll be filling this pretty often if you want to feed the squirrels daily.

I have one of these where I can see it easily. There are now three squirels who come every day.There is at least one there at a time most of every day. What a hoot to watch! The other day one was trying to get at the feed while another was sitting on top eating. Got the picture? I have had this for three years and it is still in great shape so I can say it is well made.

Jays make quick work of your pile of peanuts that you intended for the squirrels. This feeder is great for keeping the jays from stealing. You get live entertainment watching the squirrels open the feeder and they don't run off and bury the peanuts like the jays do. What a clever invention.
