bat chaser August 7, 2010 Mr. Peter J. Pihun The bat house looks great, but so far the hopefull tenants haven't arrived. They say that it can take up to two years for that to happen so I hope that my bat house will endure our New England weather.

This item was a gift and hasn't been put up yet, but it looks exactly like the picture shows. I was a little turned off from the bat symbol, but the picture makes it look much worse than what is actually there. Overall a nice looking bat hosue.

Very nice product, but shipping was a little slow. I gave these as gifts to two relatives on Christmas, and they were both delighted.
Bit pricey - but decent product August 7, 2009 G. Wilson (Egg Harbor Twp, NJ USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Bit pricey for what it is but is a decent product and constructed of cedar. Received with a split board on top but that's the nature of cedar. Lots of bat action in the area but none have entered yet. Has only been up for a short while.
Perfect Bat House July 9, 2009 William Henderson Jr. (Wynnewood, PA USA) 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
This is the perfect bat house. Exactly as described and very simple to install on a tree or a barn side. The problem is trying to get bats to find the house to roost. It would great if the instructions provided a method to "bait" the house, although I understand this is not how bat houses work; so perhaps that is a moot point. I have only had the house up for about a month with no bats yet; but I have seen bats nearby so perhaps more time is needed. The instructions suggest waiting up to a year.
